Privacy Policy

Duo Vinyl collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The app has no server of its own. The only network traffic is between your device and Apple, through Apple's own frameworks, when you use Apple Music.
Apple Music
If you connect Apple Music, iOS asks you for access to your media and Apple Music. With it, the app shows the albums and playlists you recently played, your playlists, and catalogue search results, and plays them through the system music player. That happens between your device and Apple under Apple's privacy policy; none of it is sent to us or anyone else, and the app keeps no copy of your library. You can withdraw access at any time in Settings → Duo Vinyl.
What stays on your device
- Your settings — the player style you chose, vinyl crackle and shelf light on or off, the record you played last, and which hints you have already seen.
- When you started using the app — the date of first use, kept in the device's keychain, and the original App Store download date and version that iOS provides. They are used only on the device, so that people who were there early can keep what they had if anything about the free version ever changes.
None of it is transmitted anywhere. It is removed when you delete the app (the keychain date may remain on the device until it is erased).
Demo records
The five demo records are built into the app and play from the device.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be about adding a feature that does — and it would be described plainly before it shipped.
