How do I play my own music?

Tap Apple Music above the shelf and connect. The shelf fills with the albums and playlists you played recently; the search finds albums, playlists and songs in the catalogue. Playing catalogue music needs an Apple Music subscription.

How do I change track?

Use the previous and next buttons on the deck, carry the tonearm to another part of the record, or hold the record's label to see the track list and pick one.

How do I change the player?

Swipe the deck left or right, or hold the deck for a moment to choose from all 15 styles.

How do I take a record off?

Tap the stop button on its sleeve, or pick another record — the old one goes back in its sleeve.

Does it work without a foldable iPhone?

Yes. On iPhone and iPad the shelf sits above the deck, or beside it in landscape. On iPhone Duo the shelf is on the lid and the deck on the base; folded shut, the outer screen is the deck under a glass lid.

I hear no sound

Check the volume and that the ringer is on. If a call or Siri interrupted playback, Duo Vinyl pauses and picks up again afterwards; press play on the deck if it doesn't.

The crackle is too loud or too quiet

Tap the sparkles button on the deck to turn the vinyl crackle on or off.
